We’re not sure how well this this Jaw (!) dropping Shark Bite Water Slide sells in Australia. We think it might also be useful to scare the neighbours cat. Comes with 3d goggles.
#7 – Launch of HM Armed Forces Action Figures
Posted on: May 17, 20093 comments so far (is that a lot?)
Stand at Attention! In this Episode we look back at the golden oldie of Action Figures GI Joe and go to the launch of HM Armed Forces Branded figures at RAF Northolt.
Whilst many praised the quality of the products, the launch did cause a bit of a stir in the mainstream UK Press, the main points of debate were:
1. Is it right to encourage Kids to role play with gun toting figures when violence amongst youngsters is a growing cause for concern?
2. Why don’t the figures represent ethnic minorities or female service personnel in the Armed Forces?
Whilst we thought the scale of the launch was interesting and the mix of real life Army personnel and Action Figures made for fantastic visuals – we did put these questions to the people in the know.
On point Number 1, we are old enough to fondly remember playing with the Classic Action Man range and we can confirm we didn’t turn into a real life Rambo.

#1 – Elefun + Weird Toys

Kidsoup is a brand new web video show for ‘Big Kids with Kids’.This episode features the world beating Elefun game and looks at some of the weird toys on the market. Got 2.5 minutes to spare?
As you can tell from the Video, we like the Elefun at KidSoup HQ. One common criticism is it doesn’t come with quite enough butterflies. Solution 1: Invite other Kids who have Elefun round and get them to bring their butterflies. Solution 2: Take some tissue paper used for wrapping gifts, cut it into butterfly size strips and twist them in the centre.
