astronaut icecream

With all this talk of moon landings someone had to come up with this idea. Made by Whirlpool (the same guys who make washing machines) for the Apollo Missions this authentic freeze dried ice cream can last up to 3 years unopened.

German company Style Your Garage have come up with a novel way of making your garage door turn a few heads in your neighbourhood. We can’t quite think why you would want to draw attention to your lock up , but who cares these printed tarpaulins are so much fun they made our Kids forget we promised them a lollipop.

Ok, so there’s a credit crunch, Pound against the Euro is poor, stay at home, buy a cheap tent. We noticed Halfords are doing a 4 person Tent with 4 sleeping bags AND 2 torches for £100.

Sounds great, except this is the UK in July and the picture above I grabbed today will make you emotional if you are going camping this week. It does say ‘Light Showers’ but the picture looks more scary. Luxury hotel in the South of France anyone?

My daughter came back from school today and said they had been watching this clip in class and she had to watch it again, urgently. It’s a classic story of the Buddha and how the snake got its’ hiss.

The story is told by the artful Jeeva Raghunath. Personally I would have lowered the background music (!) but it might keep your Kids quiet for a few minutes.
