Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany is becoming a top tourist destination in Europe. It’s the biggest Model railway in the world with 11,000 metres of track. The exhibit includes 900 trains made up of 12,000 carriages; 300,000 lights, 200,000 trees and 200,000 human figures.
Miniatur Wunderland is divided into 5 sections Southern Germany, Hamburg and the Coast, America, Scandinavia, and Switzerland and takes up 1,500 meters squared of floorspace. By 2014 it will expand to 10 sections.
